On 1 March 2014 I marched with the Greens NSW in the Sydney Mardis Gras, acting as an unofficial photographer and videographer for the evening. It was a fabulous evening, with friends old and new, and it’s always a pleasure to photograph passionate people doing something they enjoy!
The major challenge in capturing good shots was the movement. Fading light, people marching dancing and having a generally good time. This was my first public outing with my flash, so a good opportunity to experiment with how flash works out of the studio.
